Our Host Insurance Policy

We've upgraded your insurance coverage (goodbye Superhog, hello better protection). Our new policy is designed around what Veeve hosts actually need – comprehensive coverage that gives you real peace of mind.

This comprehensive policy has been designed to offer greater peace of mind by covering physical loss or damage to your property and its contents during a guest’s stay.

Under this policy, buildings are covered up to a value of £2 million, and contents are insured up to £100,000, with a single article limit of £25,000. The coverage includes household fixtures and fittings such as kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, carpets, as well as furniture, appliances, and approved artwork. Personal belongings like tools, bicycles, or wine collections are also included, up to a combined total of £10,000. 

Please note, however, that certain exclusions apply. These include jewellery, pearls or semi-precious stones, precious or semi-precious metals, bullion and money. 

Public liability protection is also included, offering coverage up to £10 million in the event of guest injury, damage to third-party property, or incidents arising from fixtures or fittings within the home. 

If you need to make a claim, please inform your Account Manager within seven days of the guest’s check-out. For those away from their property during the summer, our team will continue to monitor check-out reports and flag any damages identified by cleaners. For minor damages under £500, we may be able to deduct the appropriate amount from the guest’s deposit, provided there is adequate evidence.
